The Supervisory Board of BASF Europe today appointed Dr. Stephan Kothade, President of the Intermediates Business Department, as a member of BASF's Executive Board, effective from March 1, 2023. Kodivan joined BASF in 1995 and has led BASF Intermediates Business Department since 2022.

Dr. Kurt Bock, chairman of the supervisory board of BASF Europe, said: "Kodivan has demonstrated his excellent ability in many leadership positions in Germany and abroad. He has many years of outstanding work experience in BASF's integration base in Europe and Asia, which will further strengthen the strength of the executive board."
According to the agreement reached by both parties, Saori Dubourg will leave BASF on February 28, 2023. The Board of Supervisors thanked Dong Shanli for her excellent work and wished her every success in her career and personal future development.
