We suggest the product manufacturer to opt P20 Steel, 2316 or 2738 steel for production of plastic furniture. Mold flow analysis and achieving the steel hardness is very important for longevity of the mold. Chair and Table moulds are big moulds which also require being well polished and chrome plated.

Also, with a good hardened mould you would be able to avoid flashes at the ends and sides of the product and prevent any kind of repairs. A good hardness is 38 to 40HRC for chair and table moulds
