On the other hand, we take serious for those inquiries that the information provided is very specific, and customer know exactly what they need.
More detailed information, more proper solution.
Example of limited information as following:
“Hi,
the small one is 20 x 25mm, second is the one of the picture I provided and it is 30 x 35mm, the 3rd is 40 x 50mm. Can you make the moulds? There is no drawing or design, also no samples. I need to know the price.
Thanks”
Since with only pictures and size, we can not know the structure of parts, may difficult to provide the detailed quotation.
So I reply below:
“Dear ~,
Yes, we can make this kind of mould. As there is in detailed structure inside, we only can give you rough price. Later you can tell us your idea on the product, how to make, we can give you advise.
Thank you!”
This kind of customers only want to know the ability whether they can afford the price or not, usually there is less chance to work with them.
Another example for detailed inquirements:
“Hi, Shine
Attached the product drawing of our required part, pls checkit.
We have one 250T and one 380T injection machine, pls caculate the cavity which can suited my machine.
Using hot runner with **brand, to ensure the good quantity.
For product, we need around 300,000 sets total, pls consider the well mould steel.
Mould need to be good polish.
Pls caculate the mould price with FOB term.
Best regards”
“Dear ~,
Glad to receive your inquiry with detailed information. We will check all matters and caculate the price, later will send you quotation.
Thank you!”
Usual this kind of customers know some specification about the mould, so they can tell us exact requirement on mould and final product. These can help us work with them smoothly.
