Injection mould inspection: appearance and dimension
1. Does water connector type right? The hole clearance for the water connector is enough? The outer edge of the hole need chamfered and be constant.
2. Mark the water with "IN" or "OUT", and numbered clearly and tidily.
3. Oil connector or pneumatic connector need be numbered with prefix "O" or "G".
4. The screw thread of water plug, oil plug and gas plug meet tooling data sheet.
5. Is there any components outside the mould surface? If so, the stand off should be installed.
6. Does KO pattern and size meet requirement?
7. The fixing style and diameter of locating ring should meet tooling data sheet.
8. Sprue bush sphere radius must meet tooling data sheet.
9. Mould overall size need meet the customers' machine press (tie bar space), and clamping method should meet customers' requirement.
10. An arrow with "UP" marked should be engraved in the cavity plate or core plate for those moulds which installing direction is required.
11. All components should be numbered.
12. Screw thread for all connector need to be correct including eyeblots hole, K.O. hole.
13. No sharp edge, corner and burr outside the mould.
Injection mould inspection: eject and return
1. Ejecting smoothly, no getting stick, no special sound.
2. Lifter surface need to be polished, lubricate slot need to be manufactured, and heat or nitride treatment should should be done if customer required.
3. Slider and lifter stoke must be enough according to requirement.
4. Irregular ejector pin must be located.
5. Ejecting plate should return completely.
6. Space block with flat surface should be used for ejector stroke.
7. Return spring should use standard component, no polish, no split.
8. The material for lifter, wedge block and gib need to be heat-treated or nitride treated.
9. Install limited switch for slide or hydraulic cylinder.
Injection mould inspection: pull system and removing
1. Ejector pins need to be standard, no pillow is allowed under the pin shoulder.
2. Top surface for return pin need be flat without weld. The hole clearance is 0.07mm.
3. The clearance between return pin and B plate & ejector plate should accord with Aoxu Mould standard.
4. The clearance between ejector guide pin and B plate would be 0.05mm unless specified.
5. Part removal must be smooth.
6. Runner stripper plate goes smoothly with enough stroke.
