On May 3, the reporter learned from China Pingmei Shenma Group that the annual output of 1,500 tons of melt-blown cloth project for the key project of anti-epidemic materials production in Henan Province was officially put into production in the group a few days ago. The further increase in the production capacity of spray cloth has effectively changed the current situation of insufficient supply of core raw materials for medical masks in Henan, and also marks an important step for the group to improve the medical mask industry chain.

According to reports, ordinary disposable medical surgical masks are generally composed of three layers, the inner and outer layers are non-woven fabrics, which mainly protect against sweat and water, and the middle layer is a melt-blown cloth, which has good filtering, shielding, heat insulation and oil absorption. It is a key material to prevent the spread of germs, and is called the "heart" of medical masks.

During the epidemic, in the face of a large gap in domestic medical masks, the Henan Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government accelerated the layout of the entire industrial chain of medical supplies. As an important domestic manufacturer of modified plastics, Pingmei Shenma Group has given full play to its technical advantages in the production of nylon 66 industrial yarn and fine denier yarn, and organized the relevant departments such as the technical department and the production department to successfully break through meltblown. Cloth special material high melt index polypropylene and melt blown cloth production technology, and actively planning to build a daily production of 20 tons of polypropylene melt blown cloth special material production line and an annual output of 1500 tons of melt blown cloth production line.

Since the construction of the project site began on February 26, the group has been fighting against the construction speed of the Vulcan Hill and Thunder Mountain Hospitals, reversing the construction schedule and flip charts. The main leaders of the group visited the site several times to investigate the progress of the project, and proposed to speed up the project and produce qualified products at an early date to provide important epidemic prevention material support for the epidemic prevention and control work.

Regarding the difficulty in purchasing equipment, the relevant personnel went to Guangdong and Jiangsu for inspections. They were stationed in the factory for more than 40 days. After several twists and turns, they completed the equipment supervision and production, and traveled thousands of miles to ship the equipment back as scheduled.

The participating units are rushing to catch up on time and progress, and technicians have been debugging day and night. After more than 60 days of hard work, on May 1, the first batch of meltblown fabrics of the group officially went offline. Prior to April 10, the group's seven meltblown special material production lines also began mass production. While exporting, it can effectively guarantee the stable production of the group's meltblown cloth projects.

It is understood that at present, the group can produce 4 to 5 tons of melt-blown cloth every day, which can meet the production needs of more than 4 million medical masks.
