Talisman Plastics Invests In Molding Tanks
In 2020, UK-based Talisman Plastics has invested in an advanced injection unit to support its development plan for biodegradable and recycled plastic safety seal products and to improve overall production capacity and flexibility.
Talisman said that the new Haitian Mars 160-ton injection molding machine has a major improvement in production flexibility, with leading energy efficiency and repeatability at the same level. The company in Malvern added that the use of servo-hydraulic technology provides shorter cycle times and precise tolerances for safety seal products.
The work cell also includes a new three-axis Sepro robot and Keyence laser printer. The system is capable of producing high-quality, precise and safe sealing products of various materials and customized finishes around the clock.
General Manager Shaun Champion said: "We are seeing continued demand for Talisman specialty security seal products in industries such as medical, retail and logistics. This investment ensures that we have the ability to continue to support the recently increased demand for national health services, especially for our Demand for clinical waste seals and other products. In addition to providing flexibility and cost savings, this investment can produce high-performance products."
The Chief Engineer of Haitian Group, MR,FI NANHONG said: "The combination of precise injection unit design and a powerful servo drive system benefits from independent algorithm modules. Due to fast and accurate calculations and efficient mathematical models, both extremely fast and extremely slow The stability of the injection process is now much higher. This improvement is significant."
