Españoloday, Shine would like to introduce you the technological process of SMC molding.
1. Prepare before pressing(mould heating & machine parameter setting)
Usually the temperature of mould is 130-150℃, molding pressure is 5-10Mpa, just like there is 50-100kg pressure on per square centimetre.
2. SMC material cutting
Cutting the material according to estimated shapes and sizes, to prepare the producing.
3. Mould feeding
After calculating the needed weight, putting the SMC raw material on the mould, commonly the putting area is around 50-90%.
4. Molding pressure
After mold closing, all keeping high temperature and high pressure, usually the time is aroud 2-10 mins according to differernt products.
5. Demoulding
Opening the press machine, and taking out the mould from machine&mould.
6. Dealing with the burr
After taking out, worker will deal with the burr and make it smooth. And checking the product is ok, putting it in an order.
7. Cleaning the mould and re-prodecing
