June 1, 2023- BASF Tranmax, leader of biometric and infrared sensing solutions ® TrinamiX GmbH envisioned a smartphone future that was once considered impossible: a smartphone equipped with personal application technology from Chuangmeis Spectra - a built-in near-infrared spectrometer that allows for in-depth understanding of the body through molecular insights. For the Shanghai World Mobile Communication Conference (MWC), which will be held from June 28th to 30th, 2023, Chuangmeis invites consumer electronics device manufacturers in the Asia Pacific region to personally experience demonstrations of their spectral solutions and off screen face authentication solutions.
Chuangmeis will publicly showcase their consumer solutions to the Asia Pacific market for the first time at MWC in Shanghai - a market that has become one of the most dynamic and advanced in mobile and digital technology. Both Chuangmeis facial authentication and Chuangmeis spectrum solutions for personal applications in consumer electronics have been developed for integrating original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) into commercial mobile devices, especially smartphones.
Future measurement of individual biomarkers
Chuangmeis Spectral Technology is based on a unique sensor module that can be directly integrated into smartphones, ultimately allowing consumers to achieve personal measurement by touching their smartphones on the skin. Through near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy and intelligent algorithms, this sensor can measure so-called biomarkers, reflecting different aspects of a person's health status. Users can receive customized suggestions in real-time based on their own measurements.
Chuangmeis has successfully made near-infrared (NIR) spectrometers smaller than ever before, "said Stefan Metz, Asia Pacific Director and General Manager of Consumer Electronics. And we have a deep foundation of analytical expertise to introduce new applications, allowing users to gain a deeper understanding of their unknown body information. "On MWC, Chuangmeis will showcase a demonstration device running in a smartphone like system environment to demonstrate the integration and functionality of sensor modules. We will provide examples of biomarker use cases on-site, inviting visitors to measure their current hydration levels by scanning their fingers or forearms, "added Meng Deshan.
The first invisible and secure facial authentication
After its debut at MWC in Barcelona in February, Chuangmeis also brought its face authentication solution running on smartphone reference designs to Shanghai. It is the first product to combine two basic key advantages: on the one hand, the Chuangmeis facial authentication solution is third-party certified and can provide smartphone users with the highest biometric security currently available to protect their data from fraud and leakage. On the other hand, it relies on the exclusive algorithm of Chuangmeis, which can also run under the display screen, allowing smartphone manufacturers to maximize screen share. The solution is equipped with a sensor head for hidden integration into various Consumer electronics, as well as innovative certification software of Tranmax.
Collaborate with leading automotive suppliers
Chuangmeis has customized their facial authentication solution based on the specific needs of car manufacturers to unlock new vehicle access and in car sensing applications. The company is cooperating with the first tier suppliers Continental AG and Antonin to provide innovative and integrated automotive solutions for the automotive industry. The driver identification display screen for in car integration jointly developed with Continental AG can realize non-contact safe driver authentication to start the vehicle, and authorize digital payment through the display screen. The vehicle entry system jointly showcased by Chuangmeis and Antonglin aims to seamlessly integrate into the exterior of the B-pillar, enabling keyless entry into the vehicle while preventing theft.
